Maui Wedding Coordinators/Planners
Live Chat !!!
(Talk live to a Wedding Professional)
Q. Do I have to pick only a package or can I mix with Ala Carte?
A. No, you don't have to. You can mix packages and Ala Carte items. This is where our
team of professional Wedding Planners will help you and your fiancé make all of
your Maui Wedding Day Dreams a reality.
Q. How do I pick a Maui Wedding Planner?
A. There are several ways I would suggest.
1. Call Maui Wedding Coordinators/Planners until you reach one you are
comfortable planning with. (Do they answer the phone, email promptly).
2. Check them out on the Better Business Bureau website.
3. Give the planner somewhat of a trivial problem to deal with and see how they
react; in other words test them a little to see how they are under pressure.
4. Ask the Coordinator/Planner how long they have been planning weddings and if
they have previous Brides and Grooms you may contact as references?
5. Beware of choosing a Coordinator/Planner based solely on them being a member
of organizations such as Maui Wedding Association, Maui Wedding Network, Hawaii
Visitors Bureau etc. These are purely business promotion organizations and
although some of them may try to have a criteria to be a member it all comes
down to who a company may be friends with. These organizations do accept start
up companies.
If you feel comfortable at this point, you should be fine.
Q. There are so many locations; Beaches, Churches, Private Estates etc. How do
I Choose?
A. Size, Privacy, Type of setting, these all play a part in your decision. This
is where having a good planner to help you, and feeling comfortable with them,
will make your decisions easy and stress free.
Q. Do I need a blood test?
a. At the present time No you do not. Only Photo ID, Both to be present
at the license office and the cost of the license.
Q. I've been divorced, how long do I have to wait to re-marry in Maui?
A. If you have been divorced less than 6 months you must bring your divorce
decree.
Q. Should I plan my wedding for morning or sunset?
A. The choice is completely up to you. There are major differences in the two
such as Lighting, Temperature, Privacy, etc. and should be discussed with your
Maui Wedding Coordinator.
Q. Photo and Video is just Photo and Video, Right?
A. NO!! The type of photo and video equipment and experience of the
professionals you choose is very important. Although it is very beautiful on
Maui conditions change quickly and a seasoned professional is a must.
Q. How do I choose a Photographer/Videographer?
A. Review their work and ask questions suchas:
1. Is your equipment professional and what are the make and model numbers?
2. Check on www.bhphoto.com and confirm the
equipment is of professional grade.
3. How long have you been a professional photographer/videographer?
Photo, Video and Wedding Planners are all a matter of choice. You must feel comfortable in planning with them.
